WHEREAS, The Police Department has two .22 rifles, Serial #'s 24521206 and 26463545 in the evidence property room that were confiscated, cleared by the courts or abandoned that need to be declared surplus, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department would like to take possession of these two guns for departmental use.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves declaring two .22 rifles as listed, as surplus.
SECTION 2: Approves the two guns listed be turned over to Foley Police department for departmental use.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
