WHEREAS, on April 15, 2024, Council adopted Resolution 24-1168, which appointed Michael Dugger to the Riviera Utilities Board, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Dugger's term of office should expire on October 3, 2029 to ensure the Board Members each have six year staggered terms of office.
Therefore, Resolution 24-1168 must be amended.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Amends Resolution 24-1168 to state that Michael Dugger's term of office will expire on October 3, 2029 to ensure six year staggered terms.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
