WHEREAS, the Residential Sanitation Department would like to request that the Mayor sign a Letter of Intent for the Purchase of one (1) 2025 Peterbilt 537 chassis with Hardox 30 cu yd body from Environmental Products Groups for $229,156.38 off Sourcewell contract #040621-PII, AND
WHEREAS, this is a planned purchase for FY25 and due to an unusually long lead time, we need to send a letter of intent to hold our place in the long list of companies ordering them for next year.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes the Mayor to sign a Letter of Intent for the Purchase of (1) 2025 Peterbilt 537 chassis with Hardox 30 cu yd body from Environmental Products Groups for $229,156.38 for Residential Sanitation.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
