WHEREAS, Additional office space is needed due to city growth, and
WHEREAS, we have been working with Mobile Modular to design an approximately 3,000SF building which will include 12 offices, a conference room, kitchen, and bathrooms, and
WHEREAS, we are working to keep the cost low but at the same time have a quality workspace for our Finance Department, and
WHEREAS, we are requesting $575,000.00 to include the building, utilities, lighting, security, and decking on the entrance.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve and appropriate $575,000.00 for the new Finance Department building, utilities, lighting, security, and decking on the entrance to Account No #400-1012-5100.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
