Therefore, the HR division recommends amending the Pay Classification Plan and requests the budget neutral transfers of personnel funds for the following: (i) Sanitation Administrative Assistant IV (Grade 100) to Public Works Office Coordinator (Grade 130); (ii) Revenue Officer (Grade 190) to Revenue Director (Grade 220); (iii) Environmental Programs Manager (Grade 130) to Environmental Manager (Grade 170).

     WHEREAS, job analyses were conducted in multiple departments due to significant changes in job functions, responsibilities, complexity and supervision of staff, and

     WHEREAS, the HR division recommends amending the Pay Classification Plan to implement the results of the analyses.

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

     SECTION 1:     Amends the Pay Classification Play by eliminating the position of Administrative Assistant IV (Job Code 4012101 / Grade 100) and authorizing the position of Public Works Office Coordinator (Job Code 1060107 / Grade 130).

     SECTION 2:     Amends the Pay Classification Plan by eliminating the position of Revenue Officer (Job Code 1010114 / Grade 190) and authorizing the position of Revenue Director (Job Code 1010136 / Grade 220).

     SECTION 3:     Amends the Pay Classification Plan by eliminating the position of Environmental Programs Manager (Job Code 2040106 / Grade 130) and authorizing the position of Environmental Manager (Job Code 2040108 / Grade 170).

     SECTION 4:     The HR Division will provide any necessary budget neutral transfers to the Financial Services Division upon adoption of this resolution.

     SECTION 5:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
