WHEREAS, an air conditioner inside City Hall (HR) went out and needs to be replaced, and
WHEREAS, thee vendors were contacted for quotes, and
WHEREAS, Shearer Supply gave the lowest quote at $8,929.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Acknowledges and approves the emergency unplanned purchase of a 7.5-ton air conditioning unit from Shearer Supply for $8,929.00.
SECTION 2: Appropriates $11,000.00 to Municipal Complex capital purchase account 100-1020-5100 for the unit and any supplies needed by maintenance staff to install it.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
