WHEREAS, the Foley Fire Department has received an unbudgeted donation of $8,780 from Ascend Performance Materials, and
WHEREAS, this donation is intended to support the Fire Prevention and Safety programs, specifically with the purchase of an inflatable fire safety house to assist with our child fire safety education.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts this donation and amends the FY21 budget to reflect an increase of $8,780 in the Fire Department Donations account 100-2020-4651 and an increase of $8,780 in the Capital Purchases account 100-2020-5100, for a net effect of $0.
SECTION 2: Approves the purchase of an ADA Compliant Large Inflatable Fire House from All-Star Inflatables, Inc. for $8,780 from account 100-2020-5100.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
