   WHEREAS, Resolution 24-1475 approved the Highway 59 Sidewalk from Roosevelt to Azalea and appropriated funds for professional services & design, and

   WHEREAS, the Street Department, due to a limited timeline, executed construction from James Bros Excavating in the amount of $84,750.00, not to exceed $85,000.00, and

   WHEREAS, the Street Department requests to memorialize the acceptance of James Bros Excavating's proposal, and appropriate $85,000.00, under account #400-3010-5101 A23 FY25.

 

   NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

   SECTION 1:  Appropriates $85,000.00 for the Highway 59 Sidewalk from Roosevelt to E Azalea construction under account #400-3010-5101 A23 FY25.

   SECTION 2:  Memorializes the acceptance of James Bros Excavating's proposal of $84,750.00, not to exceed $85,000.00.

   SECTION 3:  This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
