WHEREAS, the Foley Police Department was approved in FY26 for a $45,000 HVAC replacement project that no longer meets the cost criteria to be considered a project, and
WHEREAS, the $45,000 will now need to be appropriated, increasing the Operational Budget Building and Grounds Account #100-2010-6010 in order to move forward with the purchase of 2 HVAC units (#12, #8).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the appropriation of funds to purchase 2 HVAC replacement units (#12, #8)
SECTION 2: Approves the $45,000 increase of funds to Operational Budget Buildings and Grounds Account # 100-2010-6010.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
