WHEREAS, to more accurately reflect the current essential job functions of the position of Education Programs Coordinator, the position needs to be upgraded to Environmental Programs Manager.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes a title change to the current Education Programs Coordinator position (Job Code #2040104) to the new job title of Environmental Programs Manager (Job Code #2040106) and authorizes a pay grade increase from a G-100 to a G-130 in the City's Pay Classification Plan effective Pay Period Beginning May 12, 2020.
SECTION 2: Authorizes a transfer of funds in the approximate amount of $1,350 out of the Reserve for Salaries Increase Account #100-9200-5999 and authorizes a transfer of funds into the various Environmental Department salaries and payroll tax accounts with a detailed journal entry to be provided to Finance from Human Resources.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
