A Resolution to Correct a Clerical Error in Resolution 22-1215 A Resolution Approving Application for ALDOT's FY2023 Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside Program (TAP) for Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements Along Airport Road, Little Rock Road, Dailey Lane, County Road 65, and Cater Lee Way

On June 20, 2022, the City of Foley City Council adopted Resolution 22-1215, which approved the application for ALDOT's FY 2023 Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside Program (TAP) for Bicycle and Pedestrian improvements along Airport Road, Little Rock Road, Daily Lane, County Road 65 and Cater Lee Way. The matching funds for this grant was in the amount of $188,585 plus an additional $88,300 if the award is granted.  The preliminary engineering (survey, permitting, and design) is now an eligible expense up to $100,000. This will reduce the City's out-of-pocket cost by $45,660. The deadline for the grant application was June 30, 2022 at 2:00pm, prior to the next City Council meeting of July 5, 2022. Resolution 22-1215 was marked to show the clerical errors.

WHEREAS, on June 20, 2022, the City of Foley City Council adopted Resolution 22-1215, which approved the application for ALDOT's FY 2023 Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside Program (TAP) for Bicycle and Pedestrian improvements along Airport Road, Little Rock Road, Daily Lane, County Road 65 and Cater Lee Way, and

 

WHEREAS, the matching funds for this grant was in the amount of $188,585 plus an additional $88,300 if the award is granted, and

 

WHEREAS, the preliminary engineering (survey, permitting, and design) is now an eligible expense up to $100,000, which will reduce the City's out-of-pocket cost by $45,660, and

 

WHEREAS, Resolution 22-1215 was marked up to reflect the correct dollar amounts. 

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

 SECTION 1:     Acknowledges and approves the clerical correction to Resolution 22-1215 as mentioned above.  

 

 SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
