WHEREAS, Capstone Engineering Group's professional design and survey services for the drainage and parking improvements for East Verbena Avenue was approved per Resolution 23-1093, and
WHEREAS, Capstone Engineering Group has completed the survey and construction plans and has submitted a proposal via contract modification to Engineering for professional construction services including bidding, construction engineering and testing, and permitting in the amount of $27,668.00, and
WHEREAS, Engineering recommends approving the proposal and requests permission to solicit bids for the construction improvements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes advertisement and solicitation of bids and appropriates $500 to Account No# 400-3020-5170 for advertising expenses.
SECTION 2: Approves and appropriate funds in the amount of $27,668.00 to Account No# 400-3020-5170 for Capstone Engineering Group's proposal via contract modifications for professional construction services including bidding, construction engineering and testing.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
