Rhett Russell, former tennis pro from Orange Beach, would like to teach tennis lesson at Mel Roberts Park. The lessons will not interfere with the public use of the courts. If approved, operator will need to purchase a business license with the City, provide insurance with City of Foley being added as an additional insured and pass a background check consistent with Youth Sports. We have previously approved the Rockin' Boot Camp to provide this service as a public benefit. Mr. Russell will schedule lessons with the Recreation Department in three month increments.

WHEREAS, Rhett Russell requested the use of Mel Roberts Park Tennis Courts throughout the year for the purpose of holding tennis lessons for physical fitness.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves Rhett Russell for the use of Mel Roberts Tennis Courts with the understanding that the times and days may change dependent upon public demand.
SECTION 2: The use of Mel Roberts Tennis Courts is conditional upon Mr. Russell obtaining/providing the following to the City:
1. Business license
2. Insurance certificate naming the City as an additional insured
3. Green Light from youth background check.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
