WHEREAS,The City of Foley intends to make application to ADECA's Energy Efficient Retrofits of Local Governments program for a grant for up to $15,000 with a 25% match to be used to replace air conditioning units for publicly accessible buildings in the city.
WHEREAS, the deadline for the grant is August 18, 2016, and
WHEREAS, the amount of the grant is up to $15,000 with a 25% local match.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the application by the City of Foley to the ADECA Energy Efficient Retrofits of Local Governments Program up to $15,000 with a 25% match.
SECTION 2: Approves, if awarded, the acceptance of Energy Efficient Retrofits of Local Governments grant up to $15,000 with a 25% match.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
