WHEREAS, the Foley Fire Department has purchased and ordered a new 2017 KME Custom Pumper to replace a 2002 E-One International pumper, and
WHEREAS, the McCall Volunteer Fire Department in Escambia County, AL has expressed a need and desire to purchase the 2002 E-One pumper upon the delivery and in-service date of the new pumper.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Declares surplus a 2002 E-One International fire pumper, inventory tag # 902, VIN# 1HTSDADR12H521425, SO 124348, upon delivery and in-service date of new 2017 KME Custom Pumper, and
SECTION 2: Approves the sale of same to McCall Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. for $80,000 to be deposited in the General Fund.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
