WHEREAS, The Depot Museum requested permission to apply for the Alabama Humanities Recovery Grant on Resolution 21-1269, and
WHEREAS, the Alabama Humanities Association has awarded the Foley Railroad Museum $7,500 to assist with organization and storage of city historical documents, and
WHEREAS, the Depot Museum requests to amend the FY22 budget accordingly: 100-5061-6026 Alabama Humanities Recovery Expense in the amount of $7,500 and 100-5061-4200 Alabama Humanities Recovery Grant - Depot in the amount of $7,500.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the $7,500 grant award from the Alabama Humanities Association and adjusts the budget accordingly: 100-5061-6026 Alabama Humanities Recovery Expense in the amount of $7,500 and 100-5061-4200 Alabama Humanities Recovery Grant - Depot in the amount of $7,500.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
