WHEREAS, the Environmental received approval through Resolution 23-1338 to purchase a 2023 Ford F150 Supercrew 4x2 Pickup off the State Contract List T191-U281 for $37,018 on September 18, 2023, and
WHEREAS, the dealership sold the truck after the Resolution was approved, and
WHEREAS, the dealership has a Ford F150 Supercrew 4x4 for $42,085 after delivery to replace the other truck, and
WHEREAS, the Nature Parks purchased a truck where the price was $5700 under budget, and
WHEREAS, the Environmental Department requests to transfer $5067 from Account #100-5090-5100 to Account #100-2040-5100 to cover the purchase.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the transfer of $5067 from Account #100-5090-5100 to Account #100-2040-5100 to purchase the 2023 Ford F150 Supercrew 4x4 for $42,085 from Stivers Ford Lincoln.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
