WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department is requesting to purchase a Fire Skid to assist with prescribed burning operations, and
WHEREAS, the capital purchase is included in the current year budget for $6,000 under Account #100-5090-5100, and
WHEREAS, Forestry Suppliers, Inc. provided a quote for the fire skid with shipping for $5,756.10.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Council approves the Nature Parks Department to purchase the Fire Skid from Forestry Suppliers, Inc. at the amount of $5,756.10.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
