WHEREAS, bids were solicited and received on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m for an airport project to construct an access taxilane and an 8-unit T-hangar, and,
WHEREAS, S.C. Stagner Contracting, Inc. was the sole bidder and submitted a bid in the amount of $1,199,921.00,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the lowest, responsible bid submitted by S.C. Stagner in the amount of $1,199,921.00.
SECTION 2: Appropriates $408,632.00 plus a 10% contingency in the amount of $40,863.20 for a total of $449,495.20 to account 400-1070-5108 R71 CONST ATL for taxilane construction.
SECTION 3: Appropriates $791,289.00 plus a 10% contingency in the amount of $79,128.90 for a total of $870,417.90 to account 400-1070-5108 R71 CONST TH for T-hangar construction.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
