WHEREAS, The Foley Police Department has a need to add one additional radio channel at the Foley Police Department, Magnolia Springs, and Seminole locations, and
WHERAS, this project is budgeted in the FY20 budget as Radio Channels - Tower for 3 Sites at $53,519 in GL account 400-2010-5102 (Communication Tower Upgrades) (Project Number R52-Channel), and
WHEREAS, Foley Police Department requests to award Hurricane Electronics this project under state contract master agreement # MA 999 T3004020002 at an amount not to exceed $53,519.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the request to add one additional radio channel at the Foley Police Department, Magnolia Springs, and Seminole locations.
SECTION 2: Approves the requests to award Hurricane Electronics this project under state contract master agreement # MA 999 T3004020002 at an amount not to exceed $53,519 and amends 400-2010-5102 (Communication Tower Upgrades) (Project Number R52-Channel) accordingly.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
