Summary

There is a need for temporary help in the Clerk's office due to personnel shortages in the department caused by unforeseen medical emergencies arising within the current staff. Request is for funding in the amount of $4,918.03 which will pay for a temporary employee not to exceed 320 hours (including payroll taxes and workers compensation).

                     WHEREAS, There is a need for temporary help in the Clerk's office due to personnel shortages in the department caused by unforeseen medical emergencies arising within the current staff, and

                     WHEREAS, Funding is needed in the amount of $4,918.03 which will pay for a temporary employee not to exceed 320 hours (including payroll taxes and workers compensation).  

 

                     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

                     SECTION 1:     Authorizes an allocation of funds for the hiring of temporary labor for the Clerks Office in the amount of $4,918.03 as follows: Account #01-620-1015 in the amount of $4,553.28; account #01-620-1030 in the amount of $348.36; account #01-620-1160 in the amount of $16.39, and amends the budget accordingly.

                     SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
