WHEREAS, the Friends of the Foley Library has donated $10,000.00 to the Foley Public Library, and
WHEREAS, the City of Foley Library desires to purchase lounge chairs for the Library.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the donation of $10,000.00 from the Friends of the Foley Library and amends the revenue account #100-5020-4651 accordingly.
SECTION 2: Approves the use of the donation to purchase lounge chairs for the Library and amends Small Tools Account #100-5020-6053 by $10,000.00.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
