Three companies were contacted and only two returned a quote. Cooper Fence and Hagan Fence both submitted quotes for the project, both quotes include the installation of 140' of 4' tall privacy fencing and 217' of 6' tall chain link fencing with one 12' double gate. We are requesting approval and appropriate funds for the installation of the new fence. The city has been getting calls concerning safety of the Hamburg building and it needing to be secured.

WHEREAS, The city has received calls concerning the safety of the Hamburg building and the need for the building to be secured, and
WHEREAS, we have received quotes from Cooper Fence and Hagan Fence to install a fence to secure access to the property.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve the quote from Hagan Fence and appropriate $6,600 to Account No# 400-3020-5129 for the installation of a fence to secure access to the Hamburg property and building.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
