WHEREAS, Community Development Department (CDD) requests permission to apply for the FY2020 Alabama Historic Commission Historic Sites Grant Program, and
WHEREAS, the maximum grant award is $20,000 with no match requirements with applications being accepted until August 15, 2019, and
WHEREAS, any funds received will be used for structural rehabilitation on the Hamburg Building, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes permission to the Community Development Department (CDD) to apply for the FY2020 Alabama Historic Commission Historic Sites Grant Program.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
