WHEREAS, the City of Foley Public Library intends to make application to the Alabama Public Library Service for a LSTA Grant in the amount of $20,000.00 to be used to purchase book titles that will enhance all areas of the library, and
WHEREAS, the deadline for the grant is April 30, 2021, and
WHEREAS, the amount of the grant is $20,000.00 with a $5,000.00 local match, to be budgeted in FY2022.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the application by the City of Foley Public Library to the Alabama Public Library Service for a LSTA Grant that will enhance the Foley Public Library book collection.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
