WHEREAS, the City acquired additional property to build three additional competition fields, and
WHEREAS, plans indicate a detention pond on a portion of the property that needs to be relocated away from the property and an easement is required for the same, and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department received a supplemental agreement from Volkert, Inc. to perform the redesign for the new detention pond location.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts Volkert Inc.'s Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to perform the redesign for the new detention pond location.
SECTION 2: Appropriates $16,600 into Account No. 12-665-7311, Q88 PROF in support of this action.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
