Summary
Our John Deere Field Drag is in need of replacement. We had planned to purchase a new Toro Sand Pro with the National IPA Discount. Toro has increased their cost and is now over budget. We are requesting to remove the previous resolution and issue a new one for a John Deere Field Drag through a sourcewell grounds maintenance contract.

WHEREAS, Foley Recreation has a need for replacement field drag and it is budgeted in FY21 for $22,000, and
WHEREAS, The City of Foley approved a Toro Sand Pro via resolution 21-1133, which has now increased in price over budget,
WHEREAS, Foley Recreation has received a quote for John Deere Field drag,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Rescinds Resolution 21-1133 for the purchase of a Toro Sand Pro from account 100-5030-5100,
SECTION 2: Approves the purchase of a John Deere Field Drag via Sourcewell Grounds Maintenance Contract 031121-DAC in the amount of $14,405.80 from Deere & Company from account 100-5030-5100,
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
