A Resolution to Allocate Additional Funding for the Beulah Heights Upgrade Project.

 

Summary

Parks & Recreation is requesting permission to increase the budget for the Beulah Heights Upgrade Project by $25,000.  We recently had a bid opening for the installation of utilities and general oversight of the project.  This bid came in much higher than we originally anticipated and we would like to move forward with this bid, as well as replace sidewalks for the new bathroom building.

     WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Department is requesting to increase the Beulah Heights Upgrade Project by $25,000, and

     WHEREAS, this increase is needed to complete the installation of utilities, general oversight by a contractor, and install new sidewalks.

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

     SECTION 1:     Approves allocating $25,000 to the Beulah Heights Upgrade Project, account #400-5037-5100.

     SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
