Resolution to Approve Drainage Improvements to the ditch West of Cedar and South of Michigan through the field.

 

Summary

The Street Department has received several complaints concerning drainage issues around 5th Avenue. The Street Department requests to contract Greenco to make drainage improvements to the ditch West of Cedar and South of Michigan through the field for the quoted approximate total of $14,829.31, not to exceed $15,000.00, under Account #400-3010-5102R70 5th. The Street Department also request to use ARPA funds for the cost of the improvements.

     WHEREAS, the Street Department has received several complaints concerning drainage issues around 5th Avenue, and

     WHEREAS, the Street Department is requesting to use our current contractor, Greenco, to make drainage improvements to the ditch West of Cedar and South of Michigan through the field for the quoted approximate total of $14,829.31, not to exceed $15,000.00, under Account #400-3010-5102R70 5th, and

     WHEREAS, the Street Department is also requesting to use ARPA funds for the cost of the improvements.

 

 

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

     SECTION 1:     Approves using our current contractor, Greenco, to make drainage improvements to the ditch West of Cedar and South of Michigan through the field for the quoted approximate total of $14,829.31, not to exceed $15,000.00, under Account #400-3010-5102R70 5th, using ARPA funds.

     SECTION 2:     Appropriates $15,000 to ARPA account 400-3010-5102 R70-5th for the project.

     SECTION 3:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
