Summary

Maintenance Department requests to purchase a 2020 Caterpillar GP25N Fork Lift from Thompson Lift Truck/Fork Lift for a total cost of $30,200.00 through NJPA/Sourcewellmember #44586.  It will be an addition to the Maintenance Department fleet because the current fork lift is too large for the jobs they need to complete on a daily basis.  It was included in the FY20 budget under account# 100-1050-5100 for $32,000.00 as a Fork Lift.

WHEREAS, the current fork lift is too large for the jobs the Maintenance Dept. need to complete on a daily basis, and

 

WHEREAS, Maintenance Dept. requests to purchase a 2020 Caterpillar GP25N Fork Lift from Thompson Lift Truck for a total cost of $30,200.00 under account #100-1050-5100  through NJPA/Sourcewellmember #44586, and

 

WHEREAS, the fork lift is budgeted under account 100-1050-5100 at $32,000.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

SECTION 1:     Approves the purchase of a 2020 Caterpillar GP25N Fork Lift from Thompson Lift Truck for a total cost of $30,200.00 under account #100-1050-5100  through NJPA/Sourcewellmember #44586.

 

SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
