WHEREAS, the Alabama National Guard in Foley is conducting a training exercise for its unit on Saturday, September 9, 2017 and this training will involve Black Hawk helicopters, in particular, training for proper ingress/egress and other safety measures related to this helicopter.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Allows the use of the Foley Municipal Airport as the base of operation for the Alabama National Guard Foley Unit's training exercise to be conducted on Saturday, September 9, 2017.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
