WHEREAS, The City of Foley Public Library requests permission to memorialize the application for the FY2020 Alabama Library Service LSTA grant in the amount of $12,000 with a $3,000 local match to upgrade the Library’s public access computers, genealogy desk computers, and the circulation desk computers, and
WHEREAS, the grant application was due on April 8, 2019 and the Library has submitted their application.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Grants permission to City of Foley Public Library to memorialize the application for the FY2020 LSTA Grant Program.
SECTION 2: Approves local matching funds of $3,000 should the grant be awarded.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
