WHEREAS, on September 7, 2021 Council adopted Resolution No 21-1305, which increased monthly charges for various types and frequency of waste collections shall be set by the City, and may be amended by the City as needed by resolution and Commercial dumpster customers shall be charged a fee through a monthly invoice from Foley City Hall and;
WHEREAS, the City of Foley deems it necessary to modify fees in order to attract the best option for commercial sanitation needs, while also keeping costs significantly low for our customers and;
WHEREAS, the City finds it necessary to increase commercial sanitation collection fees as stated in attached Addendum 1 (attached to this Resolution), per month.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the modification of commercial sanitation fees within the City of Foley, unless and until amended, and shall be as stated as in Addendum 1 (attached to this Resolution) and effective on April 1, 2026 with invoices reflecting the new rates on May 1, 2026.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
