WHEREAS, The Parks Department requests to purchase a 2021 Ford F150 Crew Cab from Stivers Ford Lincoln under State Bid #T191 for $25,841.00 , AND
WHEREAS, It was included in the FY21 budget under account# 100-5010-5100 for $43,000, AND
WHEREAS, This is a replacement for Truck #501021 (Old# 1121) Purchased 04/18/2001, which is a 2001 Ford F350, VIN# 0765, Asset# 3225, with 80,554 miles, and is costing too much in repairs & down time.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve the purchase of a 2021 Ford F150 Crew Cab from Stivers Ford Lincoln under State Bid #T191 for $25,841.00, which was included in the FY21 budget under account# 100-5010-5100.
SECTION 2: Declares Truck #501021 (Old# 1121) the 2001 Ford F350, VIN# 0765, Asset# 3225, with 53,383 miles as surplus and approves its disposal by the best means possible.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
