WHEREAS, the Public Works Department proposes hosting a regional heavy equipment competition to showcase operator skills and foster collaboration among the Baldwin County municipalities; and
WHEREAS, Approval of this resolution authorizes the City of Foley to host the event at OWA; and
WHEREAS, Approval of this resolution empowers the Mayor to negotiate and execute the event agreement with OWA
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOLEY, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council hereby approves the City of Foley to host the 1st Annual Gulf Coast Equipment "Roadeo" on the grounds of OWA
Section 2: The Mayor is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute the event agreement with OWA
Section 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
