WHEREAS, the Recreation Department is in need of more personnel to handle the field maintenance duties.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1:      Approves amending the Pay Classification Plan to re-title the existing Field Maintenance Worker II position to a Field Maintenance Worker I position with job duties and pay grade (G-7) remaining the same.     
SECTION 2:      Approves amending the Pay Classification Plan to add a Field Maintenance Worker II position at a Grade 9 at an annual salary of $31,667 plus benefits.
SECTION 3:      There are adequate budget funds available to fund the new position for the remainder of the fiscal year.  
SECTION 4:      This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
