To better serve the citizens of Foley, Street - Sidewalks requests to purchase a new 2022 Stand On Blower for $10,099.20 from Robertsdale Power Equipment under Account #100-3013-5100 It was included in the FY22 Budget as an addition under account# 100-3013-5100 for $11,000 as a Z3 Ride on Blower. We were only able to obtain 2 quotes, and we request to purchase the 2022 Stand On Blower from Robertsdale Power Equipment because it is the lower quote and the better blower.
As the City continues to grow, new equipment is needed to keep up with the many sidewalks and curbs, which also increases with the growth.

WHEREAS, As the City continues to grow, new equipment is needed to keep up with the many sidewalks and curbs, which also increases with the growth, AND
WHEREAS, a new blower was budgeted for $11,000 in FY22 as a Z3 Ride on Blower for Street Sidewalks (3013) as an addition under Account #100-3013-5100, AND
WHEREAS, Street -Sidewalks requests to purchase a new 2022 Stand On Blower for $10,099.20 from Robertsdale Power Equipment under Account #100-3013-5100 because it is the lowest quote for the best blower.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the purchase of a new 2022 Stand On Blower for $10,099.20 from Robertsdale Power Equipment under Account #100-3013-5100 , as budgeted in FY22.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
