A Resolution to Approve the Rental of Heritage Park and a Waiver of Open Container for Lisa Yeater to host a Mudbugs & Margaritas Festival at Heritage Park
Summary
Lisa Yeater with Best Florida Fest is requesting to rent Heritage Park to host a Mudbugs & Margaritas Festival and she is also requesting a waiver of open container to allow alcohol to be sold during the event being held Saturday, April 1, 2023. Lisa will rent Heritage Park from Noon - 7PM Friday, March 31st for set up and from 8AM -10PM Saturday, April 1st for the event. There will be a $5.00 entrance fee. They will have food trucks, corporate art and craft vendors, kid zone, live music and erected tents. They will charge $5.00 admission and she will need barricades. They will provide portable toilets. They will need to use the onsite power stations. They have been advised that they will need to provide a copy of their business license, liability insurance, alcohol sales license and insurance, and they will need to have off duty police officers on site due to alcohol sales if the event is approved.

WHEREAS, Lisa Yeater with Best Florida Fest is requesting to rent Heritage Park to host a Mudbugs & Margaritas Festival and
WHEREAS, Lisa will have food trucks, corporate art and craft vendors, kid zone, live music and erected tents, and
WHEREAS, Lisa is requesting a waiver of open container to allow alcohol to be sold during the event being held April 1, 2023, and
WHEREAS, Lisa will rent Heritage Park from Noon - 7PM Friday, March 31st for set up and 8am - 10Pm Saturday, April 1st for the event, and
WHEREAS, there will be a $5.00 entrance fee and they will need barricades and power stations, and
WHEREAS, they will provide portable toilets, and
WHEREAS, they have been advised that they will need to provide a copy of their business license, liability insurance, alcohol sales license and insurance, and they will need to have off duty police officers on site due to alcohol sales if the event is approved.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves Lisa Yeater with Best Florida Fest to rent Heritage Park to host a Mudbugs & Margaritas Festival
SECTION 2: Approves food to be sold and approves the waiver of open container to allow alcohol to be sold during the event being held April 1, 2023.
