WHEREAS, during the regular scheduled Council meeting of December 5, 2016, Council adopted Resolution 16-1330 A Resolution to approve the revocation of a business license under Adam Bond for B&R Tires Automotive, and
WHEREAS, the revocation of the business license was the result of Adam Bond, Amanda Bond and other employees being arrested for drug trafficking out of the business, and
WHEREAS, on December 8, 2016, the City of Foley received a Business License Application for B&R Tires Automotive from Amanda Bond, who was also arrested for drug trafficking out of the business, and
WHEREAS, during the regular scheduled Council meeting of December 19, 2016, Council adopted Resolution 16-1342, which denied the business license application, and
WHEREAS, on July 15, 2017, the City of Foley received a Business License Application for Hickory Tires and Automotive from Deidra Miller, who received the business license, and
WHEREAS, on November 7, 2017, Ms. Miller requested to have her business license terminated for Hickory Tires and Automotive, and
WHEREAS, on November 6, 2017, the City of Foley received a Business License Application for Hickory Tires from Amanda Bond located at 1021 North Hickory Street, Foley, AL, the same location as B&R Tires Automotive, and
WHEREAS, during the regular scheduled Council meeting of December 18, 2016, Council adopted Resolution 17-1333, which denied the business livense application from Amanda Bond for Hickory Tires located at 1021 North Hickory Street, Foley, AL, the same location as B&R Tires Automotive, and
WHEREAS, on December 27, 2017, the City of Foley received a Business License Application for Hickory Tires and Automotive from Deidra Miller for Hickory Tires and Automotive located at 1021 North Hickory Street, Foley, AL.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Denies the Business License Application filed by Amanda Bond for Hickory Tires located at 1021 North Hickory Street, Foley, AL.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
