WHEREAS, several homes have experienced flooding in the vicinity of Woodbridge subdivision and North Pine Street, and
WHEREAS, Engineering has identified potential improvements that could reduce the flooding potential of the area and a project exists in the adopted Capital Projects Planning Document, and
WHEREAS, a proposal for surveying the area to facilitate an in-house drainage design has been solicited.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appropriates $5,000.00 for the Woodbridge/North Pine Place Drainage Improvements project for Account No. 12-665-7128 A19 WBNP.
SECTION 2: Approves HMR, LLC’s proposal in the amount of $4,800.00 for surveying professional services for Account No. 12-665-7128 A19 WBNP.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
