     WHEREAS:  Resolution 21-1204 approved a citywide intersection study to be performed by Thompson Engineering; and

 

     WHEREAS:  Resolution 22-1120 approved Thompson Engineering's proposal providing 30% construction plans completion for multiple intersection improvements, including West Michigan Avenue and South Cedar Street; and

 

     WHEREAS:  Resolution 24-1054 approved Thompson Engineering's proposal providing 100% construction plan design; and

 

     WHEREAS:  Premier Appraisals submitted a proposal for $25,000 for appraisals and to assist with the acquisition of the Right-of-Ways on the five parcels affected by the intersection improvements, and

 

     WHEREAS:  This project is being funded by Impact Fees.

 

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

     SECTION 1:     Approve Premier Appraisals proposal and appropriate $30,000 to Account No #208-3000-5106 Michigan/S. Cedar Intersection Impv including contingencies.

 

     SECTION 2:     Council authorizes Mayor, Clerk, and other City officials to sign the Appraisal Engagement proposal and other documents required to proceed.

 

     SECTION 3:     The use of Impact Fee Funds to complete this project.

 

     SECTION 4:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
