WHEREAS, the Police Department is requesting to purchase (1) one Dual Purpose Canine from Police Service Dogs, Inc.(PSD) Training Center in the amount of $9,000.00 for new K9 Officer Hixon, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department is requesting to increase Police Donation Revenue Account 100-5041 by $9,000.00 for unbudgeted donations received, and Capital Purchase Expense Account 100-608-7010
by $9,000.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Police Department to purchase (1) one Dual Purpose Canine from Police Service Dogs, Inc.(PSD) Training Center in the amount of $9,000.00 for new K9 Officer Hixon.
SECTION 2: Approves the Police Department to increase Police Donation Revenue Account 100-5041 by $9,000.00 and Capital Purchase Expense Account 100-608-7010 by $9,000.00.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
