WHEREAS, A Section of North Hickory Street is in need of resurfacing repairs, and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has solicited a proposal from Sawgrass Consulting for the Professional Services Construction Plan, and
WHEREAS, two capital projects have come in under budget and Engineering is requesting to begin a new project for resurfacing repairs needed on North Hickory Street between Section Avenue and Magnolia Avenue, and
WHEREAS, request permission to advertise and solicit bids.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve and appropriate the proposal from Sawgrass Consulting in the amount of $466,718.42 to Account Number #400-3020-6197 A13 NH.
SECTION 2: Approve request to advertise and solicit bids.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
