WHEREAS, On August 17, 2020, Council approved Resolution 20-1223, which approved the temporary road closure of North Chicago Street beginning Friday, October 16th at 7:00 am and ending on October 17th at 12:00 am, and
WHEREAS, The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce now requests the approval of the temporary street closure to begin on Thursday, October 15th at 12:00 pm. in the event of rain.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves amending Resolution 20-1223 to approve the temporary road closure of North Chicago Street on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 12:00 pm and ending at 12:00 am on October 17, 2020.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
