WHEREAS, the Airport Manager recently advertised for statements of qualifications from experienced airport planning and engineering consultants to perform professional services over the next five years for the Foley Municipal Airport, and,
WHEREAS, Volkert, Inc. has provided these airport services for the City in the past and was the only company who responded to this advertisement with their statement of qualifications.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves entering into a new five-year contract with Volkert, Inc. to provide professional services on assignment for the Foley Municipal Airport.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
