WHEREAS, the Senior Center requested to go to bid and purchase a shuttle bus on RES 24-1037 not to exceed $100,000, and
WHEREAS, bids were opened and an acceptable bid was provided by Master's Transportation, however, the total price is $114,158, and
WHEREAS, Senior Center is requesting to increase the budget for this purchase by $14,200.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the increases the FY24 budget of $14,200 in 100-5070-5100 Senior Center Capital Purchase account.
SECTION 2: Approves the Senior Center to move forward with the purchase of a new shuttle bus from Master's Transportation not to exceed $114,200.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
