WHEREAS, the City obtained a Rural Business Development Grant for equipment and a concession trailer for supplying healthy foods and beverages at the Sports Tourism events, and
WHEREAS, the City needs to secure an equipment lease and concession services agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes the Mayor to enter into an equipment lease and concession services agreement with Sheff Cafe' LLC dba Tropical Smoothie Cafe'.
SECTION 2: Authorizes Finance to setup a rental income account for anticipated revenue of $12,500 from Tropical Smoothie Cafe' for the remainder of this year.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
