WHEREAS, multiple departments have conducted organizational reviews and job evaluations of selected positions to ensure classifications accurately reflect current job responsibilities, organizational structure, and operational needs, and
WHEREAS, these reviews identified positions that should be reclassified to better align with the work performed and improve organizational effectiveness, and
WHEREAS, Human Resources has evaluated these positions through the City's job review process and recommends the reclassification of selected positions.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: The City of Foley Pay Classification Plan is hereby amended as follows:
1. IT - Reclassifies the position of IT Technician I (Job Code 1040101 / Grade 90) to an additional slot in the position of IT Technician II (Job Code 1040102 / Grade 120).
2. Maintenance Shop - Reclassifies the position of Mechanic Aide (Job Code 1050101 / Grade 20) to an additional slot in the position of Mechanic (Job Code 1050102 / Grade 120).
3. Communications - Reclassifies the position of Brand & Design Manager to Multimedia Content Manager at the same Job Code 5060121 and Grade 170.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
