WHEREAS, Foley Police Department requests to purchase a new replacement generator base for $24,225 through the Thompson Cat Sourcewell Contract #120617-CAT, and
WHERAS, there is $15,000 budgeted in the FY20 budget GL account 100-2010-5100 (Capital Purchase - Police Department), but requests an additional $9,225 due to the quote received.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Foley Police Department to purchase a new replacement generator base for $24,225 through the Thompson Cat Sourcewell Contract #120617-CAT.
SECTION 2: Approves an increase of $9,225 to GL 100-2010-5100 (Capital Purchase - Police Department) account.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
