WHEREAS, Resolution 23-1008 approved Sawgrass Consulting's professional Services proposal for the professional survey and design of the Philomene Holmes Improvement Project along the existing stone road portion within Graham Creek Nature Preserve, and
WHEREAS, the construction plans have been completed, and
WHEREAS, 1.32 wetland mitigation credits are required to be purchased as part of the US Army Corp of Engineering permit and Wetland Solutions has submitted a mitigation credit purchase agreement in the amount of $10,560.00, and
WHEREAS, Sawgrass Consulting has submitted a construction engineering and inspection (CEI) proposal in the amount of $143,480.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approve the purchase of the 1.32 wetland mitigation credits per Wetland Solutions agreement in the amount of $10,560.00
SECTION 2: Approve Sawgrass Consulting's CEI proposal in the amount of $143,480.00 and request permission to advertise and solicit bids.
SECTION 3: Appropriate $1,500,000.00 to account number #400-3020-5168.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
